Fire Engine visit - 31st January 2017

Today we were fortunate enough to be visited by the fire service. The Reception pupils explored the fire engine that came on to site as part of their topic and asked the fire fighters many questions.

Year 4 using QR codes - Friday 27th January

Year 4 used Ipads and QR codes today, in History, to find out about Pocohontas. Their research lesson was based on discovering facts about this influential character.

Year 6 Pen Pal letters

Year 6 received letters from their French pen pals on Wednesday 25th January. They enjoyed opening their letters and reading them with their peers.










Year 6 - refraction

Year 6 investigated refraction on Wednesday 25th January. You can see from the pictures that awe and wonder were in abundance throughout the lesson.

Junior Mangement Team visit parliament - Monday 23rd January

The Junior Management Team (JMT) visited the home of democracy today. They toured the houses of parliament and got to see the houses of commons and Lords; they also stood in the great hall. Hopefully this will inspire leaders of the future.

Young Voices - Tuesday 17th January

Police visit - Monday 16th January

The police visited this morning and PC Coe was accosted by our team of Reception investigators. The children asked questions and tried on hats and handcuffs. Luckily noone was arrested and taken away.

Year 3 Stone Age Day - 13th January

Year 3 certainly dressed for the weather today as they attended school in their stone age outfits with snow falling. Some of the costumes were stunning, reminiscent of the 80's tune 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' for those who can remember. The children have been learning about cave paintings as part of this inspiration day. Thank you for your support and enjoy the pictures!
