Year 1 and 2 Nativity  All of the children preformed superbly in both of the performances to parents.
Their voices could be heard loud and clear right from the back of the hall and their singing was enchanting.  Thank you to everyone for all their hard work over the last few weeks and thank you to all the parents/Grandparents/carers who took the time to make and provide the children with their amazing costumes.

Day Trip To France - A day of French Culture

It was a fresh, early morning start for 56 of our pupils this morning as the excitedly began their journey to France

Year 1 School Trip to Weald Country Park to participate in dinosaur activities

Year 1 had a fantastic day taking part in a range of dinosaur activities including measuring dinosaurs, making dinosaur nests, moving like a dinosaur and completing a dinosaur treasure hunt. All of the children were very engaged in the activities and behaved well. 

Some of the Reception children had an amazing afternoon sharing books with each other, their teachers, mums, dads and grandparents.  Thank you so much to all the parents and carers who attend the Read with your child afternoon. We look forward to welcoming more parents very soon.

Reception Lunch with Parents

Yesterday,  our Conker Class were able to share a sit down lunch with their parents.  Roast dinner was on the menu and, judging by the comments and the happy faces, the meal was enjoyed immensely.  Thank you to everyone who took part to each with the children.

CSI comes to Kingswood

Baton Twirling Stars

Congratulations to Amber for winning second place in a baton twirling competition last weekend. Keep twirling Amber!

Rugby Stars

Congratulations Paul and holly for their Gold and Silver certificates for rugby. They attended a 10 week camp at Woodlands School and at present go to Basildon Rugby Club every Sunday.

Meet the teacher - Tuesday 12th July

The children met their new class teachers this morning. After they found out in the hall who would be in their class and the names of the teachers and adults working with them in 2017/2018, they then disappeared to their new classrooms.

District Finals

We had many wins at the district finals on Tuesday 4th July. The Year 3 boys and girls won the relay heats. Janet and Dan came 2nd in their events and both Lorrie and Emma won their throwing events.

Reception - Jungle Explorers

Today, our Reception children became jungle explorers for the day. They trapsed into the wilds of the field looking for monstrous beasts. They will be able to tell you everything they discovered in the bushes on our field next to Clay Hill Road!
