Remembrance Day - Friday 11th November

The children made poppies all morning in honour of remembrance day and then we held a wonderful and moving remembrance service this morning. The children gathered around the flagpole and we discussed armistice day and also the significance of the poppies the pupils had made and the ones we wear. The Year 6s then read a poem before we held 2 minutes silence. The children were so respectful and supportive of each other. It was a touching and inspiring morning.
