Interhouse Football Competition

Today we held a Year 3/4 and 5/6 inter house football competition. Stuart won the Year 3 & 4 competition and Windsor won the Year 5 & 6 tournament. Well done to everyone who particpated today and to our house winners!

Year 5 'Thriller' dance

Year 5 performed their 'Thriller' dance they have been learning this term to all the children in Year 1 and 2 this afternoon. It was stunning and very effective as the screams and claps from the Key Stage 1 pupils demonstrated. We have some future dancers in school!

Football team victory

Congratulations to the football team who beat Northlands 1 - 0 today, after school. The effort was exemplary as was the quality of football. Role on Monday when we play Great Berry.

Year 2 phonics and spellings

Year 2 were learning how to spell words with the 'ew' sound by writing on balloons that had been blewn up!

Eco Council

Congratulations to our new eco-council. The members were voted for by their class and met for the first time today. The remit of our new eco council will be to develop how eco friendly we can be as a school as well as an area of the site.

Year 6 maths

Year 6 were invistigators in maths today using BIDMAS to solve clues to discover who was the cullprit from The Simpsons in a case of stolen goods.

School Councillors

Welcome to our new school counsellors who have been recently appointed by their classmates. They will be working in school organising events and other activities. They had their first meeting today.

Day trip to Boulogne - Friday 23rd September

We had an amazing day on Friday 23rd September in France. We were taught how to make French bread and croissants, as well as tasting some of these delicious foods. We bought cakes and pastries from the patisserie, before heading off to a sweet factory to learn how sweets were made. We tasted the sweets at the end and they were delicious and this is why we bought so much! More photos on the website!
